Warrior Dash

I'm doing one next weekend in upstate NY and I'm wondering if people have any advice-- I will literally take anything! What to wear, examples of how you managed obstacles, etc. I have done 5Ks in the past but nothing like this before. I read some other posts on this but I'm interested if people have any other tips to mention on it. Thanks! Also let me know if you will be there too!

Only advice I can offer is don't run it as a race, don't try to run for time. Have fun with it! I've done the Camp Pendleton 10k mud run 2x and 3 different 5k mud runs (never Warrior though). If this one is a muddy course, wear something you can throw away at the end or that you don't mind being stained, wear old almost worn-out shoes if you have any. You can duct tape your shoes onto your feet so you don't lose them in the pits.0

Tie your shoes TIGHT! Lots of people seem to get theirs sucked off in the first mud pit.
Wear quick dry clothes and bring a change of clothes. I had mud in everything, so much fell out of my bra when I got home, it was sort of hilarious.0
