Yo-yo dieter :-(

Hi everyone,

I am not new to the website. In fact I have probably used MFP for the last two years. I must confess I am a yo-yo dieter. Once I commit to diet and exercise I do really well and lose lots of weight. The problem I face is feeling overly excited when I lose weight, consequently I over eat in excitement. Earlier this year I lost 15lbs and gained it all back and then some ;-/ Am I the only one going through this? I am really looking for friends who can motivate me and help me get to my target weight. Thanks guys!

    I completely understand what you mean. I loose the same 25-50 lbs every year (and gain it right back). This time I swear I'm going to make a more sustainable change and keep logging on here even in my maintance phase. Good luck! You can do it for the long haul if you have the ability to do it so many times in the short term!:smile:
