Am I dreaming?

Just started running a mile per day plus speed walking 30 minutes and body weight strength training for about 15 minutes a day three days ago. I have been on top of my eating and have been at my calorie goal for 2 lb/week weight loss all week. I honestly think I can feel my muscles tightening and that I'm starting to look better already. Am I just getting overly excited or has anyone else seen rapid weight loss when they go from sedentary to high activity in a short time? I only have about 8 pounds to lose, so I was surprised when I saw I lost one pound in three days.

It's definitely possible!! TAKE PICTURES! You'll be able to confirm that the difference you are feeling is showing. Even 8 lbs makes a huge difference when toning is involved... Also, don't be worried if you fluctuate a bit. You may just be gaining muscle. Try to take measurements also so you don't get discouraged when the scale is a roller coaster... those measurements don't lie.
Once I started to notice a difference in myself, I made a huge deal over it, haha. I check myself out in the mirror all the time! XD It's inspiring to know that I will just look better & better as time goes on if I stick with it! That's what gets me through when the scale goes backwards or I have a "fat" day.0 -
Yes, it is definitely possible! The first few weeks the weight kinda just melts off - but keep at it, and you will reach your goal in no time!0
