Delayed on-set Muscle Syndrome

Something we're all going to experience while working out (or after I should say) Just thought I'd see if anyone had any ideas or suggestions on how to help with sore muscles a day or two after working out.
Its probably not the best thing for me but I am opting to push through muscle pain while also alternating the areas on working on

I just ignore the pain, or take a day off. Depending on how bad it is. The pain means you're getting stronger >:D0

Depends how you define pain versus discomfort and if it is DOMS.
If it is DOMS, then repeat the workout you did but much slower or with less weight. Giving yourself a sort of active recovery/dynamic stretch sort of routine.
The only fact we know about DOMS is - not one study has said why it occurs they way it does and there is no defined cure. Also, no one knows why it can suddenly disappear in a person never to return.
DOMS is very different to the muscle pain you would expect after lifting to hypertrophy and causing micro tears in the muscle.
DOMS is really very different to tendon damage and muscle tears. PAIN0 -

Nope. That's absolutely the best thing. The soreness will disapate after your next workout0 -
If it's bugging you too much, take an ibuprofen and carry on.0

Thanks heaps everyone, I took a little bit of everyones advice and pushed through my work out regime, but just went a little slower I might have looked like a little bit of a weirdo the way I've been walking the last few days, but its worth it!0
