I dont have any full length photos of me at my biggest because I hated my photo taken sooo much but hopefully you will get the idea..
I started on January 1st this year after getting to 225lbs and just having enough! I tried lots of silly diets and nothing worked and I hated the thought of the gym... I found MFP and thought oh it cant hurt to try this calorie counting and with the scan button it was easy!.. I had been overweight for 5 years and just sooo wanted to get back to the 140lbs I once was so decided to make small changes at first and started (many times) 30DS but never finished.. I walked almost 8 miles a day to and from work and then thought I would give jogging a go.. at first just managed 30 seconds but soon enough I could do 20 mins (after a week or two it was 5 minutes) I had given up smoking so think that helped massively! I NEVER in a million years thought I would be able to jog, I hated running! even for the bus! but I did start to enjoy it and felt bad if I didnt go..
I started to shun takeaways too in favour of chicken breast and I started to feel really good.. it took me 6 months too loose just 22lbs but that was ok, i was doing it at my own pace. Then I started having protein shakes for breakfast and within 6 weeks had lost another 18lbs! I finally started to see a difference!
I have since moved home, so dont walk any more and have really slacked with the fitness to be honest.. but I am sure I will get back into it soon..
So yes it has taken me 7 months to loose 42lbs (well actually i put on 1lb this week) but I am very proud of myself for being half way through my journey.. yes I still have a long way to go.. but I never even thought Id make it this far!
Ok so I cant work out how to do the photos
