Guys,Help!!!!
I am getting to the verge of desperation, I'm a young man just turned 25. I have battled with all sorts of stuff during all my life but most especifically my weight. Just battled... never won, it seems like the weight is going to win the war. A couple years ago I started working out real hard and was actually able to lose 30+ pounds, but after 6 months I was exausted and my schedulle with school and work swamped me back to irregularity again.
Today I am back to where i started guys, 25 yrs old, 6.1ft 235lbs of pure disapointment. I have never dated anyone because I have always thought people don't deserve to get involved with someone who can't win over his own body. I am still active exercising anywhere from 5 to 10hrs a week at the gym.
Please can anyone give me some advice or someone who could help in anyway?!?! but my body just will not respond, sometimes I really feel like I have been cursed, if you believe in that.

    soooooo sorry to hear about your story .... hang in there and DONT GIVE UP ..... stay within your calories drink your water and shake that bootay :tongue:

    Welcome to MFP Reggie! You already have the exercise going(you are bustin your butt while your there I hope, if you are just going through the motions and not huffin and puffin then you may as well stay home) and NOW get serious about logging everything that you eat, stay in your calorie limit and DRINK- DRINK WATER yes WATER at least 64 oz everyday!! YOu do this and you WILL ditch that forty pounds!!! AND Y.E.S you can do this!! I truly wish you success!!!

    Reggie - I'm in a similar situation - I'm 25, busy with both school and work and I weighted almost 230 when i started here... but I'm only 5' 4" !! :laugh: Anyways - you can do it! I know you can because like i said I'm in a similar situation and I've managed to lose an average of 3 lbs a week for the first 3 weeks I've been on MFP. Just watch what you eat - Log EVERYTHING, log your exercise and try to stay within the recommended guidelines and you'll be okay. You may not lose it as fast as you want, but it WILL come off. Just don't give up! There are lots of motivational groups on here that challenge each other - I'd recommend you find one and jump on in if you think it will help you stay on track.

    you are in good company...I have always been "the fat girl" but i managed to loose 63lbs so far....U can do this! Just stick with the diet and hitting that gym!
