50 something looking for friends near goal

Lost 20 and very close to goal...looking for others in same situation that aren't just gathering friends...will give and get encouragement !

    I'M WONDERING IF YOU'LL LOSE THE WEIGHT IF YOU JUST STAY UNDER THE PRESCRIBED CALORIES NO MATTER WHAT YOU EAT OR DO YOU NEED TO CHANGE YOUR EATTING HABITS ALSO?
    I HAVE A HARD TIME EXCERCISING BECAUSE OF A HEALTH ISSUE.
    I HAVE LOST 12 LBS BUT MAN IT'S SEEMS HARD.

    ANY IDEAS FOR ME?

    I'm a believer that it's not just calories but WHAT you eat...changing habits for the long term.

    What was successful for me...I upped my protein, more veggies...no sugar, no unprocessed carbs...less bread..lots of fruit, exercise 3-5 days a week. I have lost weight before without exercising , but in my fifties it's harder to lose without upping metabolism.
