i ate cake last night. first time, in a long time. first time i have had that much sugar at one time, in a long time.

i woke up feeling AWFUL! like a hangover!! headache, stomach ache, sour stomach, nausea, achy, just over all feeling like complete and utter crap!

talk about major confirmation that my body does not do or need processed foods and refined sugar AT ALL!!!!

it's a non scale victory, because i will never worry about missing out, i will never feel deprived again. i would rather go without foods like that than feel like THIS because of food EVER. AGAIN!!!!!!

yay for clean eating!!!!! :-)

thx!!!!

Its amazing how our bodies react to stuff we haven't had in a while and once thought that we couldn't live without. Good for you!

sugar overdose is actually much like a hangover in that it affects many of the same organs kidneys, liver, stomach, intestines and also causes dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, decreased immune response.

Congratulations on the change in your body's "demands" that's cool

That's such a "great" feeling, even though you might be feeling like crap! I woke up in a similar way after eating a slice of pecan pie last night. It used to be one of my absolute favorite foods, but not anymore if I'm going to feel like that in the morning.
