Resistance training for women - SUGGESTIONS?

Hey y'all...

I'm 5'5", 135lbs with a slim upper body but can't seem to lose the weight and tighten where I want around my thighs and butt. It's definitely where I hold my weight. I've toned up a lot in the past 8 weeks but am hitting a bit of a plateau. Does anyone fit my stats and have a great resistance workout they can suggest? I hate just reading stuff offline b/c it's not always to my specification. I'd like to hear from a real person who's seen results!!
