Sleep

Does anyone else struggle with getting enough sleep? Or, if you do manage to get 7-8 hours per night, how do you do it? I have read that sleep is very important for weight loss and worry that getting only about 6 hours most nights will begin to be detrimental to my journey to get in shape. Plus, it is just not healthy.

I find that I have NO trouble falling asleep (except maybe on Sunday nights) once I get in bed, but I am constantly finding things I need to do in the evening (mostly chores) and stay up late trying to accomplish them--which is really ridiculous considering I am not married and do not have kids.

What do you do to force yourself stop doing things and just get in bed already? Or is 6 hours of sleep enough?

Have you tried setting a certain bedtime? You can't just stay up until everything's done... there's always something to do.

The amount of sleep you need varies by individual. If you feel rested and generally wake up before your alarm goes off you're doing fine.
