Significant to ME

I started this journey on Saturday, June 23rd, 2012 (40 days ago). I lost 11 pounds in about the first 2.5 weeks. It felt good.
I started walking regularly, and working out some. And, although my diet was not perfect, it was a lot better than it had been before I started. But I gained weight.
Although I told myself I was building muscle, I felt discouraged. Real discouraged.
But… HERE IS THE SUCCESS part. I kept with the program. I did not quit. And now I’m back to the total 11 pounds weight loss.
I’m sure none of you have tried to lose weight and quit, but I have. So, today I’m celebrating that I have continued this journey 40 days. And lost 11 pounds in 40 days. And did not quit when the scale went the wrong way.

That is an accomplishment! This is the first time that it has clicked for me that the biggest part of this journey is to keep going. Good days, bad days, loving the scale, hating the scale... I just keep going! Good job!0

Sticking to your goals is THEEE hardest thing for me. Harder than cardio, lifting, running and eating right. I have "patterns".. Start something, then I'm over it. Start it again, then I'm done 2 weeks later. So, this IS significant and excellent job for sticking with your plan.0

I'm proud of you for sticking with it, especially on the rough days we both know exist. I'm glad to be on this journey with you... cheers to continued success!0

I'm sure I have no idea what you are talking about...quitting? Me? Never! Well, maybe once or twice, or a thousand times! I am proud of you that you didn't give up! It is so much easier to throw in the towel than to trudge through. You are an inspiration!0
