milk

So.. I am new to weight training and those protein bars and drinks are expensive anyway. i was told, and then I read, that drinking milk is a great post workout drink for lifting...
They mentioned to watch calories and that determines the type of milk, but even the fat in whole milk wont hurt you.
I did notice that I hardly get any dairy anymore because everyone has us afraid of milk.
Well I think I am going to try it.. what about you? Do you drink it?
