What does bump mean? People write it in all these threads and I have no idea.

    think about volleyball. when someone bumps the ball it goes high in the air. as people post on forums the ones with the most recent post goes to the top of the forum. so a way for someone to try to get a topic responded to is to "bump" it to the top of the forum by posting in it.
