I thought I would share this receipe with everyone. It has approximately 210 calories per serving and taste AMAZING!

Take frozen chicken breasts and put them in the crockpot on low.

In a bowl stir together a 24 oz. jar of salsa, 1 packet of low sodium taco seasoning, and 2 diced jalapeno peppers (optional).

Pour the mixture over the chicken and let cook for 6 hours.

Top the chicken with santa fe tortilla strips, and reduced fat sour cream.

This taste SO GOOD and you can add a veggie and maybe some rice and you have a complete meal.

I put in 4 to 5 chicken breasts which is enough to feed my family of 4. But you can use up to 6 chicken breasts.
  • I'm new to this sight but will definitely be trying this recipe. It sounds yummy!
  • Made something similar last month but used shredded cheese in addition. Delish!

I added a can of black beans and a can of corn. Served in tortillas. Tomorrow we'll eat it as nachos. Didn't use the taco season, but I did add some cajun and garlic.
