I want to lose about 5-10% fat. For those of you who have achieved this, how long did it take? I'm also curious to know how much 5-10% of fat actually weighs (for someone who's 5'5)!
If you have before and after pictures that would be amazing
Thanks.

I dropped approximately 10% body fat percentage (I say approximately because I'm not sure what I started at, I just have an estimate based on my measurements) over about 6 months. I am 5'7". Hope that helps0

My body fat percentage goes down about 1% per month. I do about three hours of strength and two hours of cardio per week. It doesn't really correlate with scale weight for me.0

It's hard for me to tell how much I lost, some calculators say 4%, some calculators say 1%, but if I take an average I lost 2-3% in the four months since I started strength training. It was the equivalent of about 7 pounds for me. I feel like I lost more BF than 2-3% because I'm not so flabby anymore and my pants fit so much better, but with these calculators online you never really know. At some point I'll buy some calipers and measure for myself.0

I'm just looking for a guideline anyway, since I'm going off an estimate also. What % are you at now?0 -

Hovering around 22%, still trying to get down to 20% but damned if those last few lbs don't come off slowly! Haha0 -
It took me about 8 months to drop 6% body fat. Slowly but surely, the percentage went down.0
