Flavored Ice Coffee

In another attempt to kick my Starbucks habit (but not my caffeine habit) I started making iced coffee. This is just ONE way to make it. You can use different flavored coffee, syrups, and even sugar free chocolate syrup to make it more chocolaty. The nice thing about iced coffee is it can be fairly low calorie and kick the caffeine/sugar cravings.

Ingredients
1 Cup Coffee (I use houseblend instant)
1 Cup Skim Milk (or almond milk for even less calories)
2 Tbsp sugar free flavored syrup (I like the caramel)
Directions
1) Mix all ingredients and enjoy!
To make it "pretty" (though I end up mixing it to make it taste good haha)
1) Mix flavored syrup with milk
2) Add Ice
3) Slowly pour coffee into cup (try to get it to touch the side of the cup so that its not splashing in)

Awesome idea, thanks! I have a terrible starbucks habit, but it has dwindled down to unsweetened iced coffee with a little bit of skim milk...which is a huge change for me. I like it and sometimes add splenda to it. I should start making it at home. I prefer iced over hot.0

Yummy!!
I usually brew a big pot old school style (percolated on the stove) and pour into 16 oz. containers. In the morning i add 1/2c. vanilla unsweetened almond milk, a dash of stevia and a tsp. of Torani sf vanilla syrup.....nice energy shot during the drive to work at 24 calories:drinker:0 -
