The ones that hound you the most, never notice?

Of the TONS of people that have made comments to me about me losing weight, my own parents haven't said a word. My father would rarely if ever say anything, but my mother would regularly make references to my weight (not in a mean way). Either way, they are about the only people that haven't said something to me, or even seem to notice. I mean... really?
