The left side of my body is fatter than the right

I've been going to the gym for 4 days now, doing an hour of walking on the treadmill (burning around 260 calories) and strength training and I've lost 1lb so far. Prior to that, I lost 8lbs with just dieting. I can tell I've lost some body fat, but the left side of my back has more fat and my left love handle is bigger. When I wear form-fitting clothing, my right love handle is almost non-existent, but the left one sticks out quite a bit. Is there anything I can do to make the left side catch up, or will it just take time? I didn't have this problem before I got pregnant and gave birth.
