Can someone explain to me what it is that someone generally does if they are on a "cut" and what behaviours are typical of someone who is "bulking"?
Just briefly? I think I have a fair idea, just from picking up bits n pieces off here but not sure.

What you're generally talking about it if the person is on a calorie deficit or a surplus. There usually is some difference in training methods, but there's debate on if the training should change or not. I'm actually on the side of changing the training up, mostly because in my experience I get a *lot* weaker when cutting so I replace some of the large compound work with some smaller iso type stuff. YMMV.0

For the average person the only difference is calorie goal. If you are trying to bulk you're eating more than maintainence, if trying to cut you eat less. That is really all it is for *most* people.0
