Anyone else on here want to lose weight but isn't 100% committed? How do you get focused? Horrible week once again. Sigh. Do I just record my gain tomorrow and start fresh again? I guess that's better than giving up all together.

Remember that you will have good days and bad days...you need to record everything that you ate today, even if it is really bad...we can't change what we don't know...I know that you will get right back on track...Hang in there!!! You deserve it!!!0

Motivation is fickle, sometimes I have it sometimes I don't. The important thing is that when I don't have it, I keep forcing myself forward. Weight loss isn't always going to be an easy like it is when you are charged up about it. In fact, most of the time it is going to be a struggle. Period. Well, that is my personal experience anyway.0

don't give up, we all struggle from time to time (well I know I do, especially last month). I recorded my last gain cause I knew I needed to get back on track big time. Maybe look back at some old photo's or some "skinny" clothes you might be keeping for "one day they'll fit", that might just give you the motivation you need to start afresh.
motivation comes from within, check out some of the before & after posts, they may inspire you as well.
don't give up on yourself, you can do anything you put your mind too, we all can.
forget the horrible week & just start afresh, tomorrow is a new day :flowerforyou:0 -
I would take a picture of yourself naked and tape it to your mirror. That's where I get my motivation.......0

I did so good for 5 months but lately I have been eating to much and not working out as much. I can't fifgure out why, my mind seems to be in the same place. I always log in everything I eat and work-out (or lack there of). We just got to keep at it, enjoy our success and accept our set backs (as long as we keep trying there not failures) Good luck to you.0

I think you just need to be %100 percent honest more than anything. As long as you're saying, "Yea I had that extra ice cream today" then it will show up and you will see that it isn't the right choice. I work at Dairy Queen which is the hardest temptation. You're not alone, there are other people who find this hard and tedious. I AM ONE OF THEM. I have to force myself on here and I think to myself, 'UGH! It's only been one week! How will I ever be able to do this for my whole goal?' Sometimes I don't know if I'll be able too, but I have to try. And so do you. KEEP GOING!0

Don't give up. Everyone has good days and bad day. Just remember what Confucius says "Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in getting up every time we do." Tomorrow will be a better day.0

WHAT MOTIVATION WORKS FOR ME:
1. remembering its a lfe style change.... trying to change what I eat, drink has to change to lose weight, it takes time.
2. words of inspiration, everyday, i need to read them.
3. support is key.
4. exercise is so important everyday, I feel better after.
5. balance is key, food, sleep, exercise, and water!
remember why you want to lose weight in the first place, FOR A BETTER YOU!0 -
Thanks everyone! I am going to suck it up and record my gain. Day 1 (again) is today
100% committed. I am determined to stay on track and hopefully I won't write a post like this again!0
