Holiday help - September

Hello, I am going on holiday/vacation to Tunisia (Hammamet to be specific) in September for 2 weeks with my boyfriend. We have an all inclusive deal.

Has anyone been here before? We would like ideas of what we could do activity wise. We know that there are camel rides so we are definitely going to do this.

Also any parts of the area to go to (or avoid)? Any nice restaurants? Anything to be aware of?

As a side note I am white and my boyfriend is black. I hope the country doesn't have that weird, out of date racist culture that some parts of England do. Anyone know?

Thanks.

Iv not been to Hammamet but have been to Sousse twice.
The best trip we did while there was the 2 days in the Sahara desert, its a long two days but so worth it.
The safari park with evening dinner was also enjoyable.

Im sorry I cannot help with anything else but I do hope you enjoy your time there, we found everyone to be really nice.
You will get some hassle from shop keepers etc but this is normal

I've been to Tunisia but it was some 15 years ago and I don't know how much has changed. A coworker has been recently and he said that it's a good place to go diving / snorkeling. And he said that Port El Kantaoui is still a beautiful little town for a day trip.
