I really really want to tone up. Just started JM ripped in 30 but now reading and seeing progress pics for insanity etc. however, i would like opinions, people are seeing its crazy and extreme, just how much harder is it than a Jillian Michaels workout, is there a lot of difference?

While I can't directly answer your question because I'm not a believer in either, I will say this -
Toning is the reduction of body fat to the point where the muscle under said fat become visible. So to tone you need to do 2 things: reduce body fat while maintaining or building muscle. The best way to do that is with a healthy caloric deficit and strength training.
So to tone you should be eating right and lifting heavy.0 -
