Newbie from ohio

Well I have just started to really keep track of what i ate theoughout the day about a week Ago and so glad i started. I never realized how many calories and how much fat i was consuming on any given day:( I am now on a right path! I started this completely on monday and since then i have lost 4 pounds this week. My ultimate goal is to lose 100 pounds before my next birthday. I owe this to myself to get healthier. I hope i can meet fellow calorie counters to get tips and motovation.   • Yeah, I was shocked too when I found out how many calories I was eating a day. 4 pounds lost in the first week is amazing. Good job! How far away is your birthday? I would love to lose 100+ pounds by my 26th birthday if not sooner. My 25th bday is in 3 weeks. So I have a little over a year.
