Im very busy most of my days and is always forgetting to eat or just don't have time for something so i was wondering is it okay to drink protein shakes on those days where im on the go i like the one from wal-mart it's a soy protein shake that you make with either milk or water i just didn't know how bad it would be to use that as a meal re-placement probably for at least 2-3 meals

Seems like it would be just fine, if you can though try to add a peice of fruit for a snack along with it. I have to go buy some protein powder also so I can incooperate that into my diet also.

I like Slimfast Low Carb (I know regular Slimfast can be controversial, so don't shoot me ... I like the low carb one only), plus Muscle Milk in the 14 oz banana creme formulation (NOT Muscle Milk Light or Muscle Milk in the 11 oz serving formulation ... they are all different). Plus I like to keep good quality whey powders (such as the pricey Jay Robb or Pure Protein) and mix with soymilk and fruit.
Soy should not be used by anyone on thyroid meds without checking with their health care provider first, though.0 -
Recently I tried Jillians Natural Whey Protein powder (100cal 7carb 2fat 15protein) , I mix it with 8oz of skim milk (80cal 12carb 0fat 8protein) and blend it in mini drink blender , its pretty good just not chocolatey enough. Might try adding some chocolate syrup to it, that would only be 50 extra calories. But I do enjoy drinking one after working out to refuel my body. :drinker:0
