Before or after its cooked? I haven't ate it in awhile, but if I remember it correctly, I weighed it out dry and I think it weighed less than after I cooked it. (Duh, lol)

Thanks guys!

    This is what I did:
After reading the posts I got real curious so when I made pasta for dinner today, I weighed dry, weighed cooked and poured into a 2 cup glass measuring cup. In the past I've always estimated the calories.

My results were: For 100% whole grain whole wheat spaghetti cooked for 12 minutes
    Information from box: Dry - 1/5 package (75g) or (2.7oz) = 270 calories
My results after cooking: Cooked weight - 208 g or 7.3 oz = 270 calories
    Measuring cup = 1 1/3 cups of cooked spaghetti = 270 calories
So when I next cook spaghetti: I will know that for the brand I use it works out to 37 calories per ounce cooked or 1.3 calories per gram cooked, I will only have to weigh the amount of cooked pasta I decide to eat. I recorded this on the box so I will have the information the next time I cook spaghetti

Each brand varies so if you want to be 100% accurate for your brand, weight and measure before and after cooking.
