Hi, I am new to this site , I am trying to lose a few pounds. I am retired and from NJ
My first question is, How do I adjust the serving size when I find the item in the data base on this site, for ex: Sunvale frozen blueberries is listed as 70 calories for 1 cup but I only use about 1/4 cup
Thanks for your help, Betty

to the left adjust it to the percentage...ie...a quarter cup would be .25 if the serving size is a cup. So you would plug in that you are having .25 servings of one cup of blueberries. Hope that makes sense!

You can also click on the drop down arrrow on the right side of the box. More often than not, there will be other serving sizes listed.
  • hello everyone, i am in need of diet buddies and alot of positive and motivational thoughts. so sit down at your keyboard and start typing to me. i am 52 and live in a wheelchair because i have a lower left leg amputaion. i am usually alone most of the days so just keep thinking " what can i eat" i had bariatric surgery 3 years ago and lost over 150 pounds but i still am fat at 204 and am stuck here for awhile. i do try and exercise and i have had a personal trainer to come and help with exercise as much as i can do in my home. i walk on treadmill (very slow) and do various upper body exercises with him to get me over the hurdles. my husband is thin so doesnt really understand i need a buddy or motivation, when i tell him this i get a positive reaction ( motivation) which will last for a day or two and then nothing. so i am now at a stand still and would just like some friends online i could talk to.
thanks waiting to hear from all positive people.
    susie
