I had a plaid one that I hated and a scooby doo one that I also hated. I wanted a Steelers one (not even sure if they made one back then) but I would have also liked a tigger (or the winnie the poo gang) lunch box.

Campus Queen, a metal one with the metal thermos and magnetic game on the back. I LOVED it! My sister had the Family Affair one. I found both of them on ebay and bought them for old-times' sake (of course, not the originals). I guess we had them in the late 60s/early 70s.

Shirt Tales with thermos. After that, I brown-bagged it. My mom used to freeze my juice box and she always put my sandwich on top, rendering soggy bread by lunchtime. Blech.

I'm singing it in my head. We're going to Disney World in a month and I can't wait to point Chip and Dale out to my son.. they just don't get enought recognition now.

I started out with the Muppets, then when I entered the realm of grade school womanhood, I graduated to Wonder Woman.

    Sometimes, some crimes,
    go slipping through the cracks.
    But these two, gumshoes
    are picking up the slack.
    There's no case too big,
    no case too small.

I only remember having a Santa Bear lunch box. It had a built-in AM/FM radio (which barely worked). I currently have a Hello Kitty one.

Corollary question: who had a metal lunch box and who had a plastic one?

    Mine were metal.

It was before there was such a thing as lunch boxes. We wrapped our lunches in damp moss and sassafras leaves.
