Calories Burned

I am currently without my HRM, and I would really like to go to the gym tomorrow and know how much I burn. If I keep track of my average heart rate and my speed and how long I work out, can I calculate my calories burned, or close to it?

Not really. You are better off just replicating a workout you have done previously when you recorded the calories and just copying that number, or <gasp> going without for a day (or two, or whatever).
