Here was mine yesterday. No, I didn't make it to 1200, and I don't usually post my info about how many cals I take in because I am always in the 1000 range. My body stores food like I am going into hibernation, so I have to stay at around 1000 in order to lose weight. I supplement with protein shakes at times too if I can't accomplish my calorie goals.

I also Jogged for 20 minutes, walked for 20 minutes and did the ellipital for another 10, totaling 50 minutes of cardio~

I track Cals, Protein, Carbs and Fiber
    Breakfast
    Morning Coffee, 45 2 6 0
    Fat Free Yogurt - Plain, 1. cup 149 9 27 0
    Frozen Fruit - Mixed Berries, 1 cup 70 0 17 5
    All-Bran - Extra Fiber, 1/2 cup 50 3 20 13

    Snack
Benefiber - Powder, 6 tsp 45 0 12 9 (this was mixed into coffee & 2 34 oz botles of water for the day)
    Trail Mix - Cranberry, Fruit, And Nuts, 2 Tbsp 98 1 13 1

    Lunch
    Illy's - Chicken Salad, 0.5 cup 156 21 7 2
    Sesmark - Savory Thins, 7 crackers 65 2 12 1

    Snack
    Apples - Raw, with skin, 0.5 medium 36 0 10 2

    Dinner
    Salad Base, 1 meal 44 4 8 4 (I calculated my standard salad base)
    Louis Rich - Turkey Breast - Oven Roasted Sliced No Fat, 2oz 50 11 1 0
    Newman's Own - Lighten Up Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing, 2 tbsp 45 0 2 0
    Heluva Good - Sharp Cheddar Cheese, 0.5 ounce 55 4 1 0
    Optimum - Whey Protein - Gold Standard, 0.5 scoop 60 12 2 0 remove
    HEB - Mootopia Milk, 0.33 cup 30 5 1 0 remove

    Total: 998 74 139 37
    Your Daily Goal: 1,494 149 168 30
    Remaining: 496 75 29 -7

    Are you a vegetarian?
I dont know that you are doing anything wrong, but It looks like a lot of carbs.
Maybe try to get carbs more from veggies and eat fresh fruit inplace of the canned.
Your body will have to work a lot harded to prosses the fresh.

Also what is your calories from all that?

No, not a vegetarian, though it does look that way. ;)

Usually the fruit is frozen, I mix it with yogurt and soy milk to make a smoothie.

My meat usually comes in the evening with either chicken or salmon for dinner and a heap of veggies.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong but it's not working very well.

The caloric total for what is listed is 966.

    Thanks for your input!

Maybe get light soymilk and a lower calrie yogurt.
It doesnt seem like that much food for 966 calories.
I dont know how many you get a day but if its 1200 you dont have much left do you.

    Good luck!

There may be some insight there! Whether you eat meat or not, protein is a kep component to losing weight. I would highly recommend adding in a protein shake with lunch. When I know I am going to fall short of my 60g on protein a day minimum, I head for the shake. I use Optimum Gold Standard which I can get in powdered form at my Cost Plus Nutrition center here in San Antonio, but I am sure you could find it on line or localy. A scoop supplies 24 grams of protein and 120 calories a pop.

I agree that turning to fresh fruit makes you feel fuller longer. I always have an apple on Wednesdays when I leave work and head downtown to my masters class. Since I know I won't get home till 9, the apple keeps me going through the dreadful thing (can you tell I am not excited about this particular class?)

    Good luck!
