Exercise calories

This has probably been asked before, but do you eat back your exercise calories? Seems to me that if you eat them back, you would just be maintaining your current weight - am I wrong? I was eating them back and was stalled at losing any weight . Only lost 0.8 this past week. Any feedback will be appreciated.

It depends on what your goals are. If you are eating fewer calories than you expend, then you will lose weight. The general rule of thumb is to have a deficit of 3500 calories per week. 3500 calories = 1 pound0

Losing almost a lb in a week isn't stalling. That is a good loss.0

.8 in a week is a decent loss.0

I don't eat all my exercise calories, maybe 60 to 70% to allow for any errors in calorie burned estimations.0 -

Ok.....why do you think that? What about my post doesn't make sense? Assuming the estimates are correct (and they might not be) you should eat back exercise calories and still lose your goal weight.0
