Today's Yummy Snacks!

I stepped a but outside the box today and was glad I did. I maybe only stepped just onto the box flaps, but still a change from the same old!

Between lunch and dinner:
1/2 container of nonfat Greek yogurt with honey
1/2 tsp of natural chunky PB
1/2 tbs of mini chocolate chips

Semi froze it to make a semifreddo dessert ( thanks Anne Burrell) and have the other portion to try frozen frozen tomorrow.

After dinner:
1/2 bag of Smart Pop microwave popcorn
Few sprays of 0 cal butter spray
1/2 serving of dried cranberries

Mixed in bowl and ate, while my two chihuahuas basically stared down each other for dibs! Seemed to kick my craving/need for Twizzlers or Skittles with popcorn. Man, the sweet and savory!!!

    I have a yummy ice cream snack!

    1 cup unsweetened almond milk
    1 scoop (30 grams) protein powder (I use Dymatize elite)
    1 TBSP classic ovaltine
    1/2 tsp vanilla
    1 tsp cinnamon
    Pinch of salt
    1/3 tsp xanthan gum
    1/2 tsp guar gum
    17 -- 18 ice cubes

    Blend by adding a handful of ice cubes at a time - makes about 2 cups of soft serve ice cream!
