Does your weight affect weight loss?

When I am on the treadmill it asks me to input my weight for accurate calories lost. So does your size affect how many calories you burn? If 2 people done the exact same exercise for the exact same amount of time who would lose more calories, someone who is 100kg or someone who is 60kg ?
Should I input my weight and record those results ?

The heavier person will tend to burn more calories. If you put your weight in then you can get a more accurate number of calories burned.0

Yes. It's the same question as, if you walked carrying a 5kg weight and if you walked the same distance in the same time carrying a 30kg weight, would you burn more carrying the 30kg weight - yes you would, because your body's using more energy to carry the extra weight. Calories = a unit of energy, just like inches are a unit of length. If you are carrying more weight, you'll burn more calories doing the same thing as a lighter person.0

Yes, the heavier you are, the more calories you burn doing the same exercise as a lighter person (assuming your intensity is the same)0
