What are some inexpensive high protein breakfast ideas? I don't like eggs and I'm eating beef and chicken for lunch and dinner, I don't really like fish that much and most yoghurts I can't eat. At the moment I'm eating porridge and I love it but it's so high in carbs, I'd like to reduce the carbs and up the protein, help?

Are you eating pre-made porridge, i.e. Oat So Simple? If so - don't. Buy a big bag of oats and just use that. I use Tesco Scottish Porridge oats, soy milk and protein powder to make my porridge, and it works really well. You can add different things to it to switch up the flavour - I do mixed berries, choco banana and apple and cinnamon at the moment :)
You can get cheap-ish whey protein from myprotein.co.uk

I get a big bag of oats from asda, so that's not pre made is it? I went on the website and I found these two, but what is the difference between the two? http://www.myprotein.com/uk/products/essential-whey-60 and http://www.myprotein.com/uk/products/impact_whey_protein

Impact whey has a slightly higher protein content, hence the slightly higher price! Think it's only a 2g difference per serving though. Impact comes in more flavours but if you're using it to make porridge you'd prob only want choc or vanilla anyway right?
