methylprednisolone 6 day steroid and weight gain?!?!

I've been sick for nearly a month (issues with my respiratory system) and so the doctor put me on a 6 day steroid. Anyone familiar with this- methylprednosolone? I"m worried about weight gain. I googled it and found that some say its just water retention and then others say its stored glucose which is causes weight gain that is very hard to lose. Maybe I'm over reacting since it's only 6 days....
I'm still worried though. Certainly don't want the weight gain.
