Went out to the bar last night and they had a live band. My mom (my bar-hopping partner, haha) and hubby like to get up and dance a lot when they drink, and usually my knees and legs hurt too much after once dance for me to keep going. Now that I'm 30lbs down and have been doing the 30DS, I was able to dance for a good hour straight last night. In 5 inch platform stilettos no less. It definitely made the night a lot more fun and I was able to do moves I haven't been able to execute properly since my house party days in HS. =D

Also, a friend of my mom's whom I haven't seen in a few months didn't recognize me at first. Yayyyy!

Anyone else enjoying their new extended dancing abilities? lol

    Congratulations! Enjoy it girl!

What has become fun for me is shopping! I used to hate it and only did it when my other clothes disintegrated. But now I actually enjoy going :)

Good for you and congrats on your weight loss! Gotta love those NSV's!

Yesterday I ran into an old friend that I hadn't seen in months and she told me how nice and thin, and trim I looked. I always felt like she looked thin herself and after seeing her, I realized that I am actually smaller than her now. Not that I care about being bigger or smaller than someone else, it was just something I noticed.

There is another thing I've noticed and I find it a bit odd. People who used to not talk to me, do now. Is our society so obsessed with size that we can't socialize with bigger people?? It's like all of a sudden people are friendlier than they used to be, they actually look me in the eyes and TALK to me instead of just saying hi and moving on. Or if I'm in a group of people, I'm the one they talk to rather than the others around me. It's really strange. I'm not, nor have I ever been a person who wants attention and it's a little awkward. lol

Dude, I've noticed this too. People are way friendlier to me. Maybe it's just because we appear more confident and outgoing? I'm the same way though, I always feel awkward making small talk with people I'm not familiar with. I have no idea how I ended up in a sales job, hahahaha.

    And thank you all! =D
