I eat healthy all day then so many times try to come home and cook healthy for the kids and not snack at night. But my kids have so much going on (homework, arguments, debates, etc) and I just breakdown and start snacking. Well enough I decided to reach for my bible and sit my kids down and read the word when I feel like giving in to the stress in our home at night. So far I find something in the bible that calms or answers whatever is going on. I know God does not reach out for me but I must reach out to him when in need and eating healthy can be done with the lords help.
What are your thoughts?

Peace and Blessings in Christ

I agree. I do so well during the summer months. I work at a high school so I am off during the summer. I have such dedication and committment that I have awesome results. When school starts again, its all out the window! I, too, need to lean more on Him. Thank you for posting this.

If you have about $30 extra dollars go get the book "Loss it for Life"... It is a biblical base weight loss series.. There is a chapter book, and workbook.. Takes 12 weeks and it is great. It's not a diet, but way to change your life. It addresses why we overeat, and will give you REAL advise From GOD!!!! I must say it is great and I would be open to re-start the journey with anyone is interested in getting the book.

God created food to fuel our bodies and as a way to celebrate....
Still a hard journey, but when you now God is with you it seems to be a lot easier...

Let me know if you have heard of it or grab the series.

    God Bless

Thanks I will google the book since our stores don't have that book. I know eating the biblical way was a book I did have that talks about the food eaten in Jesus time and I love pomogranant but they also discuss gluteny and other things. Emotional eating can only be overcome with the help of God.

    Thanks
