Can anyone suggest the best way to store cooked oats where it doesn't get all rubbery? I've tried making the oats "runny" and it just tastes yuck...

Are you talking about steel cut oats or just old fashioned oats? When I make old fashioned oats I just make the portion I am eating, it does not take too much time at all to cook. I pre-cook steel cut oats since it takes 30 mins to cook, then I store it in the fridge. I measure my portion and add some water or milk to reheat and it is not rubbery at all. :flowerforyou:0

I use old fashioned oats. I'll try your suggestion. Thanks!0
