Hey Everyone
So i have been officially working out for two weeks religously with only two rest days so far.
also, I have been watching portions, eating better, cutting out fast food and soda etc...
however, my scale has not budged! I know that you are supposed to gain muscle when you first start working out, but any time in the past i will gain a couple and then it will start falling off!
i guess im just feeling discouraged. any words of advice?

Take measurements and don't weigh in for a month or two. I like seeing inches gone rather than pounds and when I weigh in every couple months I end up being more impressed with the numbers I see!0

Thats a great idea! I do admit, i have an obsession with weighing myself every single morning. its not good for my self esteem..0 -
That is how I was.....So I made my brother hide the scale and promise not to tell me where it was for 6 weeks..... Now the scale is left out but I have no desire to weigh myself until my other 6 weeks is up. But I do my measurements every weeks(: It is a great feeling not letting the scale determine my mood every day.0

Realize that you're thinking is completely irrational
Realize these things take time, have patience
Realize that scale has nothing to do with looks. You'll look a ton better if you gain muscle, I promise.
Realize that eventually the weight will come off.0
