Does anyone have any good suggestions on "low carb" protein mixes and when I say low carb I meaning actual carbs and it must be under 4 grams per scoop. I was using BSN Lean Dessert and noticed that the 8 carbs per serving was holding my weight loss back. So any POSITIVE suggestions would be awesome.
Thanks in advance

Dymatize & Isopure Zero are both super tasty and smooth.0

Body Fortress Whey Isolate in Vanilla Creme
130 Calories
0 grams fat
30 grams protein

Very delicious and blendable0 -
Thanks for both of your quick responses. I really appreciate it. I have tried all of the Body Fortress however the only way I can drink the vanilla is to add PB2 with it but that adds more carbs ha.0

8 grams per serving vs 4 is not going to hold your weight-loss back, that's just ridiculous.0

Well it has halted my weight loss. I have done this for 12 years and know my body no offense. I asked for positive remarks not a smartass one from someone.0 -

I used to lobby Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey like it was my job.... now I can't stand the flavor and start dry heaving at each sip.
I recently started exploring my whey options and I have been hunting for a low-carb protein that I can handle.... I won't lie, Pure Protein Whey (Frosty Chocolate) tastes like.... it tastes like chocolate milk. If you heated it up and handed it to me I would have a hard time being able to tell that it was just protein. They sell it at Walmart for $20 and it has 3g of carbs per serving. It's ****ing awesome.0 -

We sell dotFIT products at my job and everything I try I love. They are really high quality products due to the research that goes into them, but you can only get them from dotfit.com unless a local gym has their stuff in stock. My fav protein powder is the Whey Smooth in either chocolate or vanilla. The only thing is, I use 1 scoop instead of the serving size of 2. 1 scoop gives you 5 grams of carbs and 20 grams of protein. It mixes really well and tastes good with even just 8oz of water.0

Thanks for all the advice. Guess I will be doing a lot of research on everyones ideas. Thanks again!0

Optimum Nutrition Whey
Jay Rob Whey Protein
Both very good IMO0 -
For a low carb/fat good mixing protein, the isopure powders are good.
But in regards to your fat loss plateau, you simply need to increase your calorie deficit. The overall calories from your diet in relation to your caloric expenditure are the only factors that will affect your weight and body composition. One specific food or 4 extra g of carbs is not the culprit.0
