Anyone here do the low glycemic type foods?

I lost 10 lbs eating what is basically a balanced diet according to the FDA. I am wondering about the multi grains that I don't eat as much of now because they are high on the Glycemic index. I really think my gaining all the weight back and then some was because of too many calories(no matter if they were low glycemic or not)as well as not burning enough calories.

Any feedback welcome, denise

    I ate LG foods before thats how I lost my first 10 lbs ( I have lost almost 40lbs before starting MFP) I did that in a week- I stuck to it 110% and ate only 1500 calories (back then I would just write everything down on paper) went to the dr a week later and was down 10lbs it was awesome-

    So are you saying you eat LG still or do you go ahead and add in multi-grains, pasta, those higher on the scale?

    I don't eat LG foods anymore. I should though. But my diet is different now then it was back then when I first started losing weight.
