Trying to Push HARDER...

SO I've been on this journey for about 4 months. And I keep trying to push the limit, pushing myself.

Today was a GREAT accomplishment for me - a huge NSV - I jogged for 15 minutes straight - and did a mile in less than 15 minutes.

I walked on the treadmill for an additional 45 minutes - warm up and cool down included. It was SOO EXCITING!

I want to do this EVERY DAY! but I just don't have the energy. I WANT to. I am already working out with a trainer 3 times a week, and doing water aerobics 2 x a week on top. I WANT to run every morning - I just.. Can't :(

If I do, I get so SOO SOOOO tired. I fell asleep in my chair this afternoon and woke with a stiff neck because I was so tired. I know all the people saying "Don't say you don't have time, there's 24 hours in a day, and you spend x sleeping, x working, etc"

Yeah this is TRUE - and I was saying up until today, that I just don't have time with a full time job, a part time job, a 4 year old, AND seeing a trainer 3 times a week, but after thinking about it, it's truly NOT a time thing, it's an energy thing.

There ARE more hours in the day If I want there to be, but I just get so exhausted I don't know how to take advantage of them.

I take vitamins regularly, I get from 6-8 hours of sleep a night. What am I doing wrong? why can't I make my body do MORE??????????? UGH! SO FRUSTRATING!

:(

I am new to all this, but here is what I think: maybe your body just isn't ready for that much. Try starting out by running 2-3times a week and once you get ok with that and don't feel so run down, you can add one run and so on. I would just follow your body's cues, if you're tired, sleep. The fact that you are doing regular exercise is great!

How many calories are you eating? If your not eating enough you will wear ou. As bad as people don't want to hear it when trying to lose weight you still have to provide enough energy for the body to fuel itself.

I agree, but I think I am ok. I eat about 1500 to 1800 6 days a week and then a maintenance day to keep the metabolim from slowing.
