I guess I just don't believe BMI because if my weight was what they say it should be people would tell me I was sick plus now I workout so how do I know what my ideal weight should be? How many pounds heavier will my ideal weight be because I'm working out?

I don't believe any of the charts. When I began with the medical weight loss, I told the doctor and other professionals working with me that my goal weight is 280 lbs. That's my ideal weight for me and I'll be thrilled to be there. Set a goal and go for it. Don't over analyze charts and graphs and what "they" tell you. Best wishes!0

I am 5'2" tall, and according to BMI I need to be no more than 136.7lbs...I haven't been there in 18 years! I'm not even sure if it is possible for me to get there anymore. My goal is set for 145 lbs, but I'm honestly not sure that is even right for me. My plan is to watch my diet and exercise 3-4x a week until I am a size 8--if that means that I am 155lbs, then so be it.0
