Meal Times???

The break down... A lot of people start their day early in the morning. Maybe 6am-8am, and get their breakfast in early, and end up eventually going to bed at a 'reasonable hour'. I've heard that some people cut food intake off around 2 hrs before they goto bed (if 9:00pm bed, then no food after 7:00pm).
Anyhow, my situation is I get up closer to noon, start eating 'breakfast' around one o'clock. Every couple of hours I eat in this order: Breakfast, After Breakfast Snack, Lunch, After Lunch Snack, Dinner, After Dinner Snack. I have NEVER went over on my calorie intake in the last almost 1 month that I have joind MFP. I goto bed at around 2am-3am. So the last time I eat is my 'After Dinner Snack' at around 11pm - Midnight. Most people might not eat that late, but since I have a late schedule, it seems to be working out ok. But, I just wanted to get some opinions on if I may be doing this correctly, or maybe different suggestions on how I should do my meals???
Thanks in advance!

If you ate your last snack IN bed it wouldn't matter. You're fine.0

^ That.
I would really let personal preference play the biggest role in your meal timing.0 -
I eat cereal in bed just about every night.0

Pick whatever meal timing feels better to you and will help you meet your targets. It's purely personal preference.0

if this says anything, my meals times are when i get hungry :ohwell:
you're doing it right, not really a wrong way to do it.
the reason one would cut their eating time should be more so to control their intake vs. thinking if they eat something, it'll make them gain weight0 -
Thanks! My main reason to worry about the '2 hr rule' is I thought it had something to do with your metabolism. Guessing not, I shall do what I have been .0

Calories don't know what time it is. It's best
to eat every 3 hours. That's how long it takes
for your stomach to get empty.0 -

The issue here is that you were informed by someone who hasn't a clue. EDIT so I don't sound like a d-bag: What I'm saying is, people will tell you not to eat at night due to metabolism slowing down. They are wrong.0 -
I dont think it really matters when you eat. Ur hours are a lot like mine. This is my schedule
I wake up about 11am and eat breakfast first thing.
I workout ab 12 or 12:30
I eat a nutrition bar after my work out, ab 1 or a little after. It's because I'm normally not wanting to eat a while lot right after
I eat lunch around 2pm.
I eat supper between 4:30-5:30
Then I usually have 2-4 snacks left over (i always prelog) and I eat them all before 8pm.
I don't eat anything after 8 and I go 2 bed between 1am-3am. I find if I cut myself off at tht time, I can get a lot of water in cuz I'll drink it when I'm hungry. This works for me.0
