Where can I find my range?

Options
I bought a new HRM Polar FT4. When setting it up it has a Zone Range. Now it is set at a default with 114 bpm on the low side and 150 bpm on the high side. So the idea is to keep your heart rate in this zone for optimum burn, right? My question is this: How do I find out what my ideal burn zone would be?
When I am running my HR is up in the 160's + which is out of the zone and not optimum.
Any help would be great!

I've seen different people say different things but DDP Yoga say it's 180 minus your age = equals top of your fat burning range...minus another 20 and that's the bottom of your fat burning range.

I've seen something else which said 220 minus your age.....but that was all.

I'm doing DDP Yoga so I go with him
