Hello everyone! My name is Vandy and I will be your post writer today ~_~
I'm 29 and tired of struggling with my weight. I've been working out for the last 4 years (obviously not enough) with very little success. It's kept me from gaining any more but I have to do more! I need to do more! I want to enter my 30's in shape! I'm tired of looking back at my pics and cringing.
I just recently got engaged, which is part of my motivation for sure. But I'm also worried about the coming zombie apocalypse, i need to outrun those suckers. ^^
For a long time now (years) I've given up pop (soda for more of you guys, i'm Canadian and we call it pop), and I never eat fast food except for the occasion subway when I've forgotten my lunch.
I don't eat red meat/pork, just chicken and fish, and i love veggies! I feel like for the most part my diet is good. But I do have a weakness for sweets Lucky for me, my partner has zero love of sweets, so they're never in the house. However, I work at a school, and students are forever bringing in treats for the staff. *sigh* Also, my sister is a terrible influence, she always has sweets when i come over after dinner and my resolve weakens in the face of ice cream. So sweets and carbs, and sometimes portion control are dragging me down. *sadface*
A friend recommend this site to log my food/workouts to help keep myself accountable and I really like it so far. I also started the 30 day shred last week and oh man is it a tough work out. I just keep repeating "Constant Vigilance!"!!!!
