Hi all, finally decided to post after lurking for a few weeks.
Been tracking my diet/exercise for about 2 weeks now and have mostly been sticking to my calories, as well as completing some form of exercise each day (Football or running).
I'm running a 10k next Sunday (first ever official run). Furthest i've ran so far was last Monday, when I did 7.1km (I've ran 8km on a treadmill), will have one last big run tomorrow and then a smaller one later in the week before the run on Sunday (unless someone with more expertise recommends otherwise).
Currently sitting at 210lbs and 5'11" (and officially obese on the BMI scale at 30.1!!) want to initially get down to around 180lbs over a period of 4-6 months but also gain some muscle and tone up.
Had a terrible weekend, full of takeaways...but back on it starting tomorrow and officially off the takeaways.
Mostly here looking for motivation & advice.
