This is probably a dumb question, but when you see quick added calories, what does that mean? Is it just food they didnt want to log?

Didn't want to, or couldn't find a suitable entry in the database. I don't like using them because they don't reflect in my macros.

In the beginning I used it a lot because it was quicker than entering in my food individually but now that I've been using it for awhile most of what I eat I can find under the recent tab so it's not a big deal.

But I've also used it a few times to rearrange my calories. Like if I can't finish my dinner I'll subtract a portion of my calories using quick add from my dinner and add the same amount later that night when I finish my meal just so I can see what happened if I go and look back at the day later and wonder why my calories are low -- I know I skipped my snack to finish my dinner.

When I quick add calories, I leave a note to remind myself what those calories were from. I find the reminder helpful when I am looking at my trends.

some people probably, I use it only when I scan a barcode and the calories are off and I write in my notes section what those calories are. Like today I had yogurt and when I scanned the barcode it was 10 calories off so I just quick added them and made a note of it. Not all people use that to "hide" food.
