Change from pavement to treadmill

Needing lots of exercise advice tonight!!
I am going on holiday in a weeks time for a fortnight, and I don't want to miss out on any runs, however it is going to be far too hot for me to run on the pavement as I usually do, I was thinking of just using the gym and the treadmill, but I haven't ever run on a treadmill before is there anything I need to be aware of? I wouldn't say I have a particular running style apart from hot and sweaty!!

Stand on the sides--not on the belt--when you turn the machine on. Let the belt move at a low rate of speed (1-2mph) then step onto the moving belt. Increase your speed gradually from there.
If you try to stand on the belt as you turn it on, the jerk at the start can cause you to fall.0 -
Define "far too hot".
Run early or run late. If you run in the heat, just slow down some. The heat won't kill you (unless you are elderly or very ill). They run a little race called Badwater that goes through Death Valley. Surely it won't be THAT hot where you are going, will it?0 -
I also do my running outside. When I go to a hotel to run, I put the treadmill on a 1% incline to keep me. Try to find something good on the T.V. to keep you occupied while using the treadmill.

At the end spend a few minutes slowing yourself down to give your brain time to adjust - you can get dizzy otherwise (I do at least and I've heard others do too, I have to go ridiculously slow at the end to give myself time to adjust, and even then usually stand there another minute or two to make sure I'm not gonna faceplant getting off, lol)0

The treadmill will not be that different than your normal run, I would increase the mileage you run outside on the treadmill as it is not as difficult to run on one. Other than the boredom, the dreadmill is not that bad.0

I live in the UK and I am holidaying in Turkey, temperatures at least 30 degrees even first thing in the morning, way too hot for me! I'm used to the rain and the wind, and to me thats preferable to running in such heat, so the treadmill it is!
