When do I weigh my food? Before cooking or after?

I'm trying to be diligent about my food diary. But I'm unsure as to when I weigh my food. Foods like chicken/steak before or after grilling? Another good example is popcorn. 1 cup of cooked popcorn versus uncooked popcorn is a big difference.

Meat and veggies must be weight before cooking. Same with pasta. The popcorn I eat is after popping.
You really have to read the labels on the food when you can. My rice is cooked while the rice my bf used is uncooked.0 -
What about rice? Is that after as well?0

If you see that one portion is 45g for example..... It mean uncooked.0

I weigh all my food raw (uncooked)0

Either or. Almost every food listed here has an entry for cooked, even the method (boiled, roasted, grilled, steamed, fried, etc.)0
