Healthier Cheese?!

So after going through the nutritional information of cheese, I'm disappointed to say the least. I love cheese in a lot of different meals; quesadillas, casseroles etc. Has anyone found a "healthier" cheese?! A few points ... I'm Canadian so a brand you suggest would have to be available here, I usually used Cracker Barrel or Black Diamond but now am on the hunt for something healthier obviously.

Anyone ever tried making their own cheese?! Is it better for you?!
